Selection Procedure for  M.D., M.S., Admission

How to apply:

The candidates who have qualified in NEET PG 2018 and who want to study in medical colleges of U.T. of Puducherry have to register in CENTAC through online. CENTAC MD/MS Merit list, CENTAC Counseling date and Information Bulletin and other details can be accessed from CENTAC website www.centaconline.in 

The print-out of the duly filled-in online application signed by the applicant with all necessary enclosures shall be sent by post/courier or can be submitted in person to
“The Convenor”, CENTAC office, PEC Campus, Pillaichavady, Puducherry - 605014
and a copy may be forwarded to our college.

Documents to be produced at the time of Common Counseling conducted by CENTAC

  • NEET PG 2018 Admit Card Issued by the NBE
  • NEET PG 2018 Result/Rank Letter Issued by NBE
  • Mark Sheets of MBBS, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Professional Examinations.
  • MBBS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.
  • Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st March of the year of admission.
  • Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st March of the year of admission.
  • High School/Higher Secondary certificate/ Birth Certificate as proof of date or birth.
  • Candidates must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card)

 Important Note:

  • Candidates are asked to report to the counseling center one hour before the allotted slot.
  • Candidates without original certificates and NEET PG 2018 documents will not be allowed to participate in the counseling.
  • Regarding the fees structure for MD/MS courses candidates are asked to refer the concern medical college websites.
  • Once the provisional allotment order is availed by the candidates they should pay the tuition fee on the spot immediately.

Revised Cut-Off scores for NEET-PG 2018

  • The result of NEET-PG 2018 has been declared by NBE on 23rd January 2018.
  • In accordance with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India notification no. V.11025/05/2017-MEP dated 27th April, 2018, the minimum qualifying percentile has been revised for NEET-PG 2018 as follows:

  • There is no change in NEET-PG 2018 Rank of all the appeared candidates which has already been indicated to the candidates through their score cards.

    Minimum Academic Qualification for M.D., M.S., Courses

    Candidate should have passed the M.B.,B.S., from an Institution recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi and must have completed/be completing their Internship by 31st March and also should have obtained a Permanent registration from any State Medical Council in India before commencement of the Course.
