  • The 3rd SIMSCON was inaugurated at our college auditorium on 3rd September 2011.
  •     Nearly 190 undergraduates (including the interns) from various college of Southern India attended the conference.
  • At the inaugural function, Dr. V. Raji, Vice Chancellor of Chettinad University presided over as the chief guest.
  • Prof. D. Rajagovindan welcomed the gathering .
  • Prof. M. Amaranathan and Shri. M. Dhanasekaran felicitated the audience.
  • Dr. V. Raji stressed the importance of research papers for the society and nation as a whole.
  • Dr. M. Pragash proposed the vote of thanks.
  • The scientific sessions were categorized into clinical, pre & para clinical, community medicine group and were conducted in three separate halls.
  • Theme presentation and case report presentation were conducted in a separate hall.
  • Nearly ninety original research papers were presented by the students at the conference.
  • In the evening, the most popular event SIMSQUIZ was conducted.
  • Prizes were distributed in various categories at the valedictory session.
